What drives me nuts is how people bash her and love Emily even though she stole from her family to satisfy her desires. Victoria is so incredibly selfless. First marrying to save her family on two accounts even though it was not fulfilled. Then she tries her darnest to save Victor with what information she had. And even though she throughly disposes Barkis she goes through the marriage not considering her wellbeing and only to spare her family of poverty. I can only imagine how strong and independent she will become with loving Victor on her side.
